Enrollment3 questions
Who is eligible to enroll in Krypteia training programs?
Eligibility

Programs are open to vetted security professionals, law enforcement personnel, corporate security managers, and qualified private individuals. All applicants undergo a background screening prior to enrollment confirmation. Government and military personnel may qualify for expedited enrollment.

How far in advance should I register?
Registration

We recommend registering at least 30 days before your preferred session. Cohort sizes are deliberately small — typically 8 to 12 participants — to maintain instructional quality. Sessions fill quickly; early registration is strongly advised.

Curriculum & Certification3 questions
Are Krypteia certifications recognized by industry bodies?
Certification

Krypteia certifications are issued directly by Krypteia Solutions LLC and are recognized by a growing number of corporate security programs and government contractors. We do not currently hold ASIS or IACET accreditation, though our curriculum aligns with CPP and PSP competency frameworks.

Can I take Level 2 or Level 3 without completing prior levels?
Prerequisites

Level 2 (Investigative Techniques) requires demonstrated prior experience in security operations or law enforcement — a formal Level 1 certificate is not required. Level 3 (Executive Protection) requires either Level 2 certification or documented close-protection experience. All prerequisites are reviewed during the application process.

What happens if I do not pass the final assessment?
Assessment

Participants who do not meet the passing threshold on the final assessment may attend one remediation session at no additional cost within 90 days of their original course date. Certification is issued only upon successful completion of all assessment components.

Logistics2 questions
Where are training sessions held?
Location

Standard sessions are held at our primary training facility in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Select programs are available at partner facilities in other regions. On-site delivery at client locations is available for group enrollments.

What should I bring to an in-person session?
Preparation

Participants receive a detailed preparation brief upon enrollment confirmation. Generally: government-issued photo ID, appropriate clothing for physical exercises, a notepad, and any personal medical items. All course materials, equipment, and meals during training days are provided.
